Sliding Scale Program Rules

Our Sliding Scale Program is designed to make massage therapy accessible to those in need. This program applies exclusively to our 60-minute massage sessions

Eligibility: The sliding scale program is available to individuals who are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford the regular rates for massage services. Participants may be required to provide a brief explanation of their situation to determine eligibility.

Enrollment Process: To apply for a reduced rate, contact Myra Howard at Chi Moshi Massage Studio via email or phone. Availability is limited, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis each month.

Session Limit: To ensure fair access to the program, eligible clients can receive up to one discounted 60 minute session per month. This limit may change based on demand and availability.

Pricing: The sliding scale program offers massages at reduced rates or trade based on a client’s financial situation. The discount amount will be determined during the application process and may vary from client to client.

Tip Contributions: All tips from regular services will be allocated to the sliding scale program fund, which helps cover the cost of discounted sessions. Clients benefiting from the sliding scale program are not required to tip but are welcome to contribute if able.

Appointment Scheduling: Sliding scale program appointments must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance to allow for other clients to use the spot.

Renewal and Re-evaluation: Participation in the program is reviewed semi-annually. Clients may be asked to reapply or provide updated information to continue receiving discounted services.

Confidentiality: All information shared for the sliding scale program is kept confidential and used solely to determine eligibility and program participation.

Program Duration: The sliding scale program is ongoing, but availability may vary depending on the number of participants and resources. Chi Moshi reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time.

Respect and Fairness: This program is built on trust and mutual respect. We ask that only those truly in need apply, ensuring that the program can benefit as many people as possible.
